KRS-One in Sac
I caught the KRS-One show here in Sac Thursday 3/19 at the Empire Events Center. The sound is always horrible at that venue, but they do get some quality hip-hop acts there now and then. Anyways, KRS was full of energy, pleasing the crowd with the classics as well as plenty of freestyle. One of the great things about his live shows is that he lets the local B-boys and MCs get down with him on stage.

Konkrete Jungle comes to Sac
For all those that like grimy electronic sub bass and in your face drum breaks, this event is for you. The well known name, Konkrete Jungle has now started up a Sacramento chapter. The fun starts March 25, and I am proud to be a part of what could be a breath of fresh air for Sac’s jungle scene. This is an untapped venue for drum n bass and I will be assisting in dropping some dubstep, grime and electronic hip-hop in the second room.

916 – Second Saturday Art Walk
The Second Saturday Art Walk here in Sacramento is an excellent way for creative minds to express themselves in public, and be able to capture a decent crowd made of various types of people. Yesterday, I caught something I don’t see enough of… the spontaneous freestyle cipher… as well as a freestyle session at Havoc Boutique on 24th st. The city was alive last night!
